We gather in the Dilek Peninsula National Park mountains, drive through Echo Canyon and the 14th-century Kurşunlu Monastery, share a water-pistol fight and dance show with local villagers, off-road across the mountains, pass Zeus Cave (currently closed by government order, route resumes when reopened), and finish with lunch + a sea break at our own Long Beach Club. Zeus Mağarası — Mythology (closed by government, returning to route when reopened)
Zeus Cave sits on the slopes of the Dilek Peninsula — a natural formation considered sacred since antiquity. Legend says Zeus hid here from the fury of his wife Hera. The cave is currently closed by government order; when it reopens, our convoy stops at the entrance for a short 5-minute walk and mythology stories in English and Turkish. Until then, we pass the site on the way to Long Beach Club without entering.
Kurşunlu Monastery — Byzantine Heritage
Kurşunlu Monastery is a 14th-century Byzantine Orthodox complex carved into the slopes of the Dilek Peninsula. It takes its name from the lead (kurşun) roof tiles that once covered it — today the roof has collapsed, but the stone walls, fresco traces and apse section still stand. Its panoramic position overlooking the Aegean Sea and the Aydın plain made it a strategically and spiritually significant site. The visit takes about 30 minutes; the stair-and-path approach is moderate.
Long Beach Club — Traditional Lunch + Sea Break
Long Beach Club is our own beach club on the Aegean shore — not a village. After the off-road section we park here for a relaxed lunch + sea break: traditional Turkish lunch (mezeler, charcoal main, fresh bread, fruit), tea and water included, and time for a swim or a beach lounge before the convoy reassembles. Drinks beyond water are paid cash on the day at fair local prices.
The Famous Water-Pistol Fight & Off-Road Trails
Our signature roadside water-pistol fight — local kids ambushing the jeep convoy with water guns has become a tradition, paired with a short dance show in the village square. The convoy slows, everyone grabs a water gun, laughter erupts. T-shirts get drenched but the memories last a lifetime. Kids absolutely love it; adults hesitate at first and end up the most enthusiastic warriors.

Yes — free pickup at Kuşadası Cruise Port main gate between 09:00 and 10:00. For 17:00+ all-aboard times we guarantee a 16:30 drop-off, returning you well before sail. We track your ship's docking schedule.
