Selçuk Jeep Safari — Zeus Cave + Long Beach Club lunch + sea break
Based in Selçuk for Ephesus? Our full-day jeep safari leaves from your hotel: Zeus Cave, Kursunlu Monastery, Long Beach Club lunch + sea break, water-fight finale.
Selçuk is where most independent Ephesus travelers stay — closer to the ruins than Kuşadası, quieter, and dotted with small boutique hotels. If you're spending 2-3 days here you've probably already done Ephesus and the Basilica of St. John. Our jeep safari fills the second day with a totally different angle on the region.
The convoy meets at the staging point in the Dilek Peninsula National Park mountains north of Selçuk. From there: Echo Canyon (forest tracks, photo stop), Kurşunlu Monastery (Byzantine ruins, panoramic view, fewer than 50 visitors a day usually), water-pistol fight and local dance show by the roadside, and off-road 4×4 trails through the Dilek Peninsula National Park. Zeus Cave is currently closed by government decision and returns to the rotation once reopened.
Lunch and sea break is at our own Long Beach Club, right on the Aegean — köfte/kebab, vegetarian and halal options on request, fresh bread, salads, then swim or beach chairs before the convoy heads back. The water-pistol fight is our signature moment — drivers hand out water guns, everyone gets soaked, kids love it.
Pickup from Selçuk hotels free. The trip works as a counterpoint to Ephesus day — antiquity in the morning, off-road and lunch by the sea in the afternoon if you split it.
Frequently asked
Can we do Ephesus and jeep on the same day?
Tight. Ephesus needs at least 3 hours; our jeep tour is ~7 hours. Better to do them on separate days. We can offer a half-day jeep if you really want both, but you'll miss the Long Beach Club lunch + sea break.
Is the lunch good?
Honest answer: it's traditional beach-club fare. Grilled köfte or kebab, vegetarian and halal options on request, fresh bread, seasonal salads, dessert. After lunch you have time for a swim or beach-chair relax before the convoy heads back.
Pickup from Selçuk hotels?
Yes, free from all Selçuk hotels. Pickup window 09:00–10:00 from your hotel lobby; the convoy gathers at the meeting point in the Dilek Peninsula National Park mountains.
