This Privacy Policy explains how Hayta Apps (Pest Repeller LLC) — operator of the Safari Turkey Center website and mobile applications ("Safari Turkey Customer", "Safari Turkey Driver", "Safari Turkey Admin") — collects, uses, and protects your personal data.
1. Data we collect
- Identity & contact: name, e-mail address, phone number (WhatsApp), nationality. Provided by you when you book a tour or create a customer account.
- Booking details: tour selection, travel date, number of participants, pickup address, hotel/cruise ship name, special notes.
- Approximate location (optional, mobile only): when you enable location to find nearby pickup points or to let your driver locate you on the day of the tour. You can revoke this permission at any time from your device settings.
- Payment data: when you pay online we use Stripe to process the transaction. We do not store your card number on our servers — we only retain a transaction reference and the receipt URL.
- Device data (mobile): a push notification token issued by Apple Push Notification Service or Firebase Cloud Messaging, app version, OS version, and device model. Used to deliver booking-related notifications.
- Authentication: a one-time password (OTP) sent to your email and a JWT session token after verification.
- Usage logs: minimal server logs (date, route, response code) for security and debugging.
2. How we use your data
- To create and manage your tour reservation.
- To send booking confirmations, receipts, and pre-tour reminders by email and WhatsApp.
- To match you with a driver and a pickup vehicle on the day of the tour.
- To process online payments via Stripe and refunds when applicable.
- To improve our service quality and prevent fraud.
- To comply with Turkish tax law (Mali Müşavir / fatura saklama yükümlülüğü).
3. Sharing your data
We share your data only with:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy.
- Apple / Google — for push notification delivery only.
- Our drivers and dispatch staff — only the data needed to perform your booked tour (name, phone, pickup address, party size).
- SMTP provider (Gmail SMTP) — for transactional email.
- Turkish authorities — when required by law (e.g. tax inspection).
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for advertising.
4. International transfers
Stripe and Apple/Google may process data outside Türkiye (typically EU or USA). We rely on the standard contractual clauses these providers publish for international transfers.
5. Data retention
- Booking and payment records: 10 years (Turkish Tax Procedure Law).
- Customer account data: while your account is active. You may delete it any time from the mobile app or by emailing us (see §8).
- Push notification tokens: until you uninstall the app or sign out.
- Server logs: 90 days.
6. Your rights (GDPR & KVKK)
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (subject to retention obligations above).
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Receive a portable copy of your data.
- Withdraw consent for optional processing (e.g. push notifications).

7. Children
The mobile applications are intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
